 Rukometaši zagrebačkog Croatia osiguranja pobjednici su Hrvatskoga kupa. U finalu završnog turnira koji se igrao u Poreču igrači Croatia osiguranja su pobijedili riječki Zamet 36:23 (18:9).

Croatia osiguranje je momčad bez većih problema došla do pobjede, a već nakon prvog poluvremena imala je devet golova prednosti. Najučinkovitiji igrači u pobjedničkim redovima bili su Štrlek sa sedam, Špiler i Matulić s po pet te Horvat s četiri gola. Zamet su predvodili Sakić s pet te Vujić, Mrakovčić i Lončarić s po tri gola.
Rukometašima Croatia osiguranja to je 19. naslov u dosadašnjem 21 finalu Kupa, pri čemu deseti zaredom. Nisu uspjeli tek 2002. kada je Metković pobijedio 25:21 i 2001. kada je Metković u finalu bio bolji od Zameta 28:22.
Za najboljeg vratara završnice Kupa proglašen je Ivan Stevanović iz Zameta, a najbolji igrač je Manuel Štrlek iz Croatia osiguranja. |
